Intentional Transitions: Psychotherapy Group – Winter

A seasonal psychotherapy group designed to invite intentional reflection, psychoeducation, somatic practices, and integration of ancestral wisdom to support holistic, generational healing and
effective coping in seasonal transitions.

The Winter in-person group will run from 1:30pm-3:30pm on Friday December 12th, preparing early for the Winter Solstice (December 21st) when the sun begins it’s return. Ancient traditions across the world have celebrated the Solstices for thousands of years which invites reflection on the cyclical nature of life in slowness of the dark half of the year and celebrations of the growth to come. It is also intentional that this group will take place in advance of holiday gatherings which can at times be accompanied by mixed experiences of pleasure and struggle that we can purposefully prepare for.

The group will focus on experiential, somatic practices to support intentional reflection and sensing our deep connection within as a stable resource amidst the transitions that accompany this season. Through trauma informed, somatic, Yogic movement we will invite in sensations of slowing down, grounding, and intuitive sensing our experiences and needs. We will also engage in intentional creative expressions, envision touch stone spaces within our living spaces to support our individual intentions in this seasonal transition and bring home resources to bring our vision to life. All of this will take place in a small collective community (max 5 participants) in which sharing will be an option but not required based on your individual comfort levels.

The cost of the two hour group is $100 which may be covered by your insurance as it is a Psychotherapy Group provided by a Registered Psychotherapist – always confirm with your insurance provider.

Intentional Transitions: Fall Psychotherapy GroupFULL – CLOSED

A seasonal psychotherapy group designed to invite intentional reflection, psychoeducation, somatic practices, and integration of ancestoral wisdom to support holistic, generational healing and
effective coping in seasonal transitions.

The Fall group will run from 3pm-5pm on Friday October 31st, ringing in Halloween and it’s deeper origins, Samhain. This is a Celtic celebration of the end of harvest – gratitude, preparing for the transition into the dark half of the year – slowing, and honoring ancestors – intuitive knowings. This celebration is closely followed by Dias De Los Muertos, Day of the Dead, which reminds us that our ancestors from anywhere across the world have long honoured traditions and rituals around loss, grief, and intuitive continuing bonds.

The group will focus on experiential, somatic practices to support intentional reflection and sensing various forms of loss in the surrender and transition process. Through trauma informed, somatic, Yogic movement we will invite in sensations of slowing down, releasing, and intuitive sensing. We will also engage in intentional creactive expressions, envision touch stone spaces within our living spaces to support our individual intentions in this seasonal transition and bring home resources to bring our vision to life. All of this will take place in a small collective community (max 5 participants) in which sharing will be an option but not required based on your individual comfort levels.
